From mid November to late March the Bare Root and Root Ball season see many hedging plants become available from field grown stock and can be a cheaper alternative to pot grown stock. Common Beech (Fagus Sylvatica) Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) Hazel (Corylus avellana) Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) are just some of the stock that will be available.
Leylandii (x cupressocyparis leylandii) are still a popular hedging plant and can be supplied from 60cm to 3.5m tall.
